VISION News 03 2019 powered by inspect

Dear Readers,

the EMVA is once again calling for papers for its prestigious Young Professional Award. With the award the EMVA aims to encourage students and young scientists in particular to focus on the technical challenges of machine vision and apply the latest image processing research to the practical needs of the machine vision industry.

The winner will receive a prize money of 1,500 euros, can participate for free in the EMVA Business Conference 2019 in Copenhagen, including all travel expenses, and receives a free ticket to the European Machine Vision Forum 2019 from 04 - 06. September in Lyon.

The winner will also have the opportunity to present its award-winning work during the 17th EMVA Business Conference. If you like to participate and to know more about it, read here.

The spotlight this month is on the new products of IDS, Hikvision and Edmund Optics. They are definitely worth a look.
