Japanese AD Science takes over distribution of EVK solutions
Hyperspectral imaging solutions
The solution provider for hyperspectral imaging, EVK DI Kerschhaggl, and the Japanese distributor AD Science signed a distribution agreement, according to which AD Science will exclusively distribute the EVK solutions in Japan in the future.
"With AD Science as our new distributor, we are proud to offer our market-proven product range to the Japanese market," said Youngsoo Lee, EVK Country Manager Korea and representative in Asia.
Hyperspectral imaging in numerous industries
EVK's Helios series of hyperspectral near-infrared imaging systems, including Sqalar data processing software, have been used worldwide for many years to analyze and sort heterogeneous material flows. The advantage of these systems is the contactless and non-destructive multivariate data analysis of different materials in real time.
The company EVK DI Kerschhaggl exists for about 30 years and provides sorting and monitoring solutions in the waste management, food production, mining and pharmaceutical industries.
AD Science was founded in 1992 and initially marketed highly sensitive cooled CCDs for research institutes - hence the addition of the name "Science". Today, the Japanese distributor's machine vision portfolio also includes X-ray, infrared and machine vision cameras.
