The machine vision industry has lost a pioneer and a luminary: Ernst Rauscher, company founder, partner and managing director of Rauscher GmbH, died on November 5 after months of serious illness at the age of 74.
Ernst Rauscher founded the company in 1984 and has continuously expanded it over the past almost four decades. With his innovative strength, his untiring personal commitment and his sure instinct for technologies and markets he was not only one of the pioneers in the industry, he also formed Rauscher GmbH into one of the most successful technology providers in the field of machine vision.
Ernst Rauscher was not only a successful businessman, he was also a cheerful and always optimistic person for whom cooperation and support for each other was of great importance.
With his death, the machine vision industry loses one of the first pioneers, who was respected and highly esteemed by all employees, business partners and the entire industry due to his performance and personality.
In spite of this personal loss and in the spirit of Ernst Rauscher, Rauscher GmbH will remain a strong and reliable partner for customers and business partners in the future.
Thomas Miller, who has been with the company since 2006, and Raoul Kimmelmann, who has been with the company since 1999 and has been Managing Director since 2013, will continue to manage the company together. With Thomas Miller, the nephew of Ernst Rauscher, the family succession is also secured in the spirit of the deceased.
