Industrial Camera with uEye Cockpit Software
The uEye industrial camera comes with the uEye Cockpit software which allows easy setup for connected cameras. You can now quickly find suitable parameters for optimal image settings without having to write a single line of programming code. It is just as easy to configure the bandwidth management and to optimize the exposure time, frame rate or digital I/O settings. Saved in an INI-file the data can easily be imported into your own applications. This significantly reduces the need to adjust parameters within your applications. more
Industrial Camera with GigE Interface and Power over Ethernet
One cable is enough for the new GigE uEye CP industrial camera from IDS. At 29 x 29 x 41 mm, the camera is one of the smallest models to feature PoE technology. It offers a Gigabit Ethernet interface that allows cable lengths of up to 100 meters, a robust housing, screw-on connectors, and optically isolated in- and outputs. For users of analog cameras the new model range offers a powerful alternative. The aim was to combine the simplicity of USB with the performance of GigE. USB 2.0 Cameras with USB 3.0 Interface
Camera manufacturer IDS Imaging Development Systems has confirmed the compatibility of all of its uEye USB 2.0 camera models with the USB 3.0 interface after carrying out extensive testing. The cameras were tested using several current PC mainboards from leading manufacturers which already feature the latest version of the USB connection. more
High-Speed Cameras with 1.3 Megapixel
Machine vision specialist IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH announces the release of new camera models featuring a 1.3 Megapixel global shutter CMOS sensor. The innovative imaging sensor developed by E2V combines the advantages of CCD technology, such as excellent light sensitivity and color fidelity, with a high frame rate of up to 60 fps and the functional benefits of a CMOS sensor. more
Cameras with High Frame Rates
IDS Imaging Development Systems announces the introduction of the ICX-445 CCD sensor from Sony for a selection of IDS's uEye camera models. The 1/3" sensor with a resolution of 1,280 x 960 pixels combines a very high frame rate with outstanding light sensitivity. Particularly in the near-infrared range, the sensor is exceptionally sensitive and thus ideal for use in industrial manufacturing environments and traffic surveillance. more
GigE and USB Industrial Cameras with New HDR Sensor
The German camera manufacturer IDS announces the release of a newly developed HDR sensor for their USB and GigE industrial camera series. This technology allows capturing images with ultra-high contrast and a dynamic range of over 120 dB, which is about 1,000 times more than conventional CCD sensors can provide. The HDR cameras thus open up many new possibilities for applications that have high brightness differences, such as traffic surveillance or industrial welding. more
NIT Starts Shipping its Sensors to Camera Manufacturers
IDS Imaging Development Systems, an industrial camera manufacturer, announced the introduction of a new camera which incorporates a NIT Magic CMOS sensor. In a move to differentiate its product range and offer the best available technology, IDS has chosen to work closely with NIT, and has finally selected the MD1-10-B Logarithmic sensor for the design of its latest high-dynamic-range (HDR) uEye camera. This true logarithmic sensor developed by NIT uses an array of photodiodes operated in photovoltaic mode. more
Mini-made USB 2.0 Industrial Cameras in Ultra-compact Design
