New F-Mount Industry Lenses

Schneider-Kreuznach has expanded its range of F-mount industrial lenses with two new variants: 2.2/50 and 2.8/100. Both of these lenses with fixed focal length stand out due to their practical luminous intensity of 2.2 for the 50 millimeter version and 2.8 for the 100 millimeter variant. This new range of lenses called Xenon-Emerald has been designed to be particularly robust and compact to meet the high demands of industrial applications. more

Tracing Deviations

Optical lenses with centering errors do not necessarily have to be rejected as long as the exact deviation between the optical and the geometrical axis is known precisely. So far instruments with focus lenses and collimator are used for these tasks. However, the handling of these instruments is cumbersome if the type of lens often changes. Now, lens manufacturers are offered an alternative: a new centering tester with USB 2.0 camera. more

New MRC Coating for Industrial Filters

Schneider-Kreuznach's industrial infrared filters feature now a newly developed MRC-IR coating (Multi Resistant Coating). It offers a superior antireflection in the non visible wavelength range of light, i.e. the near infrared range from 620 to 1,100 nm. They are mainly used in machine vision applications, for monitoring traffic with night vision and other industrial and research uses in the infrared range. more

Schneider Kreuznach Employs new Production Technology

Schneider Kreuznach is using new, sophisticated production processes to achieve reduced tolerances and, for the first time, a real lenses resolution of 2 micrometers. These features enable the new Micro-Symmar 2.8/50 special lenses to offer outstanding homogenous image performance across the entire image field. The lenses has been enhanced for 3.5-time enlargement and has a 60 mm field of image. The proven V-interface guarantees smooth adaptation to a wide range of camera systems. more
