Infrared OD 4 Bandpass Filters from Edmund Optics

Edmund Optics introduces new Infrared (IR) OD 4 Bandpass Filters. These versatile filters provide the high transmission and deep rejection necessary to isolate narrow spectral regions for use in a wide variety of applications. Infrared (IR) OD 4 Bandpass Filters take advantage of a single substrate dielectric construction, which ensures carefree maintenance and allows these durable filters to be used in harsh environments. These IR bandpass interference filters have a diameter of 25 mm and provide center wavelengths of 2.7 - 5.3 μm. more

New MRC Coating for Industrial Filters

Schneider-Kreuznach's industrial infrared filters feature now a newly developed MRC-IR coating (Multi Resistant Coating). It offers a superior antireflection in the non visible wavelength range of light, i.e. the near infrared range from 620 to 1,100 nm. They are mainly used in machine vision applications, for monitoring traffic with night vision and other industrial and research uses in the infrared range. more

LED Coaxial Illumination Systems for Infrared Applications

The Swiss illumination manufacturer Volpi has expanded his range of standard products with high-power LED coaxial illumination systems for infrared applications. All CIS (Coaxial Illumination System) and ACIS (Advanced Coaxial Illumination System) versions are now available with infrared-LEDs. These systems use special high-power IR-LEDs with a wave-length of about 875 nm. Due to the high quality standard the illumination level is completely homogeneous. The advantage of a long-waved infrared-range is the marginal interaction with the material. more
