Industrial Camera with uEye Cockpit Software
The uEye industrial camera comes with the uEye Cockpit software which allows easy setup for connected cameras. You can now quickly find suitable parameters for optimal image settings without having to write a single line of programming code. It is just as easy to configure the bandwidth management and to optimize the exposure time, frame rate or digital I/O settings. Saved in an INI-file the data can easily be imported into your own applications. This significantly reduces the need to adjust parameters within your applications. more

Cameras with High Frame Rates
IDS Imaging Development Systems announces the introduction of the ICX-445 CCD sensor from Sony for a selection of IDS's uEye camera models. The 1/3" sensor with a resolution of 1,280 x 960 pixels combines a very high frame rate with outstanding light sensitivity. Particularly in the near-infrared range, the sensor is exceptionally sensitive and thus ideal for use in industrial manufacturing environments and traffic surveillance. more
Software Update Adds Functionality to Compact Camera
IDS Imaging Development Systems announces the release of a free software update for its USB uEye XS industrial camera. The update adds significant extra functionality to the tiny auto focus camera, including a trigger mode for image capture in different resolutions of up to eight megapixels, digital zoom and backlight compensation. Even USB uEye XS cameras in the field can take advantage of the new functionality through IDS's easy on-the-fly software upload approach. more
10 Megapixel USB Board-Level Camera
IDS Imaging Development Systems announces a new 10 megapixel version of its uEye LE board-level cameras.
