Edmund Optics introduces new Infrared (IR) OD 4 Bandpass Filters. These versatile filters provide the high transmission and deep rejection necessary to isolate narrow spectral regions for use in a wide variety of applications. Infrared (IR) OD 4 Bandpass Filters take advantage of a single substrate dielectric construction, which ensures carefree maintenance and allows these durable filters to be used in harsh environments. These IR bandpass interference filters have a diameter of 25 mm and provide center wavelengths of 2.7 - 5.3 μm.

At one time micro video lenses for compact machine vision systems supported only low resolution applications. Reductions in the size and cost of optical sensors along with increases in pixel count now allow high resolution in compact systems. New optical designs are yielding micro video lenses with increased resolution to match today's sensors, increasing their applications range.

Edmund Optics’ Techspec Compact Telecentric Lenses feature an ultra-compact design and provide excellent telecentricity and low distortion – an excellent choice for integration into gauging systems. Their fixed iris and focus make them ideal for implementation into factory floors and assembly lines, as they will remain stationary over time. They are also well-suited for robotics applications.
