Norpix: BlackMagic HD SDI now supported

NorPix's HD SDI capabilities now encompass the Blackmagic Design frame grabber, which adds several new video capture card possibilities to the mix when using our products. Optris: Thermal Imager Captures High Resolution Infrared Images at 80 Hz

The newly developed optris PI400 nicely rounds off Optris' family of online infrared cameras. The versions PI400 and PI450 have been introduced on the market to complement the firmly established PI160 and PI200. Sized 56 x 46 x 90 mm weighing in at only 320 g with its lens included. Moreover, this latest addition to the product portfolio of the Berlin-based company offers an excellent thermal sensitivity: 80 mK for the optris PI400 and 40 mK for the optris PI450. more

Olympus with new digital colour camera

Olympus has introduced the new, easy-to-use SC100 digital colour camera for high quality brightfield imaging, especially where optimal colour reproduction and superior resolution are required. The 10.5 megapixels sensor of the SC100 allows samples to be investigated in minute detail, particularly when using a low magnification objective. Hexagon Metrology: production of the 1,000th DEA Global CMM

Hexagon Metrology celebrates production of the 1,000th DEA Global 7.10.7 CMM. The one with serial number 1,000 was delivered from Turin, Italy to Hirschvogel Umformtechnik GmbH in Denklingen, Germany. The company uses the CMM to measure un-machined and pre-finished parts for the automotive industry such as injection systems or parts for drives and gear units. The order was finalized by a visit of employees from Hirschvogel Umformtechnik to the Hexagon Metrology factory in Turin at the end of July where DEA measuring machines are being developed and produced.   more
