Camera Development and Demo Board

The Micron CMOS Sensor Development and Demo Board uses an USB2 interface to transport the raw digital video data from the sensor into a data stream to the Host/PC. Several software applications are provided with the demonstration system, which allows the user to display the data from sensor on the host computer and to change some basic settings of the sensor for evaluation purposes. A software development kit (SDK) is also available for customers who wish to write their own software applications which access the sensor on the Demo System. The hardware system consists of two distinct boards: the demo board holding the Cypress FX2 chip which controls the USB2.0 interface, and the sensor head board, which plugs into the demo board and contains the Micron Imaging sensor and lens.
