According to Alexei Matveev, Head of Business Media Russia – the Representative office of Messe Stuttgart in Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia and the Baltic States, the renewed development of manufacturing capacities will see growth in machine vision systems and technologies. “It’s high time to stimulate further market development together with the local and international commercial companies, governmental and R&D institutions,” he commented. “We have a burst of activity… in machine vision and optics, but the market is still emerging and needs to be guided by world experience and know-how in this sphere. At the moment we are building bridges both with European and Asian markets: China, Taiwan and Japan. Russia is located in the centre of Eurasia, and we are happy to invite all the market players to meet at Vision Russia.”

Vision Russia Pavilion & Conference visitors will be able to meet leading manufacturers, distributors, integrators of machine vision technologies, components and systems and get advantage of the firsthand expertise and background on machine vision use for industrial enterprises. Exhibition guests will also learn about the variety of non-industrial applications of machine vision in such areas as IT and security, video surveillance, transport & logistics, sports, HoReCa and retail.
On the first opening day, June 17, Vision Russia Pavilion & Conference will present three sessions: “Up-to-date machine vision technologies”, “High-powered and affordable machine vision for semiconductor production”, “Machine vision for non-industrial application”. VISION Russia Pavilion & Conference Presentation Zone will be co-located with SEMICON Russia 2015, the international forum for microelectronics and semiconductors manufacturing, thus providing the straight access to the professional community of electronics and semiconductors industry.
Within the first session “High-powered and affordable machine vision for semiconductor production” Maxim Soroka, CEO of ViTec will make presentation: “Modern computer platforms for machine vision. ARM vs. Intel”. The topic will highlight the most popular ARM and x86 platforms as well as performance of last generation processors from leading manufacturers like NVIDIA, Intel, Samsung and Broadcom.  Russian company ViTec has been working in the field of machine vision since 1996, showing a sustainable growth in this segment.

VISION Russia Pavilion & Conference is supported by the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA), which will lead the separate block of Euresys s.a. –  the leading supplier of video acquisition and processing components for machine vision and video surveillance applications. The Bloc Conference will be followed by The Round table “Challenges, trends and further development of machine vision in Russia”. The closing session of the first Conference day “Machine vision for non-industrial application” will include the speech of Lars Brinkmann, Team Leader Sales South & East Europe, Basler AG, who will give the examples and bright cases of machine vision solutions for retail, transport, security and surveillance.

On the last exhibition day, June 18, ViTec company will run seminar devoted to technical vision. The participants will overview the technical advantages of machine vision for solving tasks of quality, quantity, size, configuration and packaging control, production identification and marking, operating robots, machines and mechanisms.
