Qioptiq Opens Showroom for Inspection Tests

24.10.2017 -

Photonics specialist Qioptiq has set up a showroom for its Optical Inspection product area at its headquarters in Feldkirchen near Munich. The company develops and manufactures innovative optics and photonics solutions for research and industry, which include e.g. in the inspection of displays and semiconductors or in medical fluorescence microscopy. For the first time, the Showroom offers customers the opportunity to test various inspection procedures for demanding objects in advance. Various inspection techniques such as brightfield and darkfield illumination, differential interference contrast (DIC), polarization microscopy and fluorescence excitation are available. Also various in-house cameras and light sources can be used.

For detailed demonstrations and explanations, Qioptiq also presents two of its modular microscope systems in the showroom. The configurable mag.x system 125 for modern high-resolution sensors up to 57 mm in diameter offers extremely high resolution and a large image field and is ideal for sub-micrometer inspections. The Optem Fusion micro-imaging system, which is also exhibited, offers the greatest possible flexibility in system configuration thanks to its extremely modular design. This results in a wide range of applications in the areas of inspection, machine vision, material testing and contactless measurement technology applications. First visitors from Germany and abroad were already welcomed in the showroom, most recently the long-standing sales partner Stemmer.
