Framos with new products on Laser 2015

09.06.2015 -

Framos will showcase its innovative portfolio of image processing components and system solutions for measurement and testing technology, automotive engineering, optics, medical technology and electronics at Laser 2015, the leading international trade fair for the photonics sector, which would be held in Munich from the 22nd to the 25th of June. One focus point will be alternative light sources to lasers. The new, improved EFFI-Lase 2.0 LED pattern projectors from Effilux are now 20 times more powerful than their predecessor and require no laser protection class, meaning that they are not subjected to strict laser safety provisions. EFFI-Lase can project lines, grids, point clouds, circles or crosses, making it suitable for 3D triangulation, positioning and stereo vision. Particularly impressive are their high resolution and long service life, as well as the availability of all wavelengths and the elimination of light spots, known as speckles.

From its comprehensive portfolio of image processing technology, Framos will also present the Giganetix range of cameras from Smartek Vision, which are compatible with GigE Vision. Visitors will be introduced to a wide range of products for automating production, packaging and QA systems to boost efficiency. The cameras boast a variety of trigger functions, high EMC stability, power over Ethernet and outstanding image and processing quality, and are available in 17 different sensor variants. In addition, the Giganetix range is available in two different case variants and in a board-level version.

For high-speed applications, visitors to the Framos stand will be able to see the HS-2000 high-speed camera from Emergent Vision in action. With 338 fps and 2.2 megapixels, along with the CMOSIS CMV2000 Global Shutter Sensor and 10GigE interface, the smallest variant of the Emergent HS series sets new benchmarks for performance. The 10GigE interface is compatible with both GenlCam and GigE Vision, and can also use an SFP+ glass fibre connection for larger cable lengths. The 35 mm F-Mount allows the use of a range of lenses, and makes the HS-2000 a flexible tool for meeting the challenging requirements of industrial image processing applications.

Another Framos product being presented at Laser is the brand new Euresys Coaxlink Quad G3, the fourth member of the Coaxlink series. It is the first CoaXPress frame grabber with a PCI 3.0 (gen 3) interface, ensuring reliable data rates of over 3 GB per second. With its new CoaXPress certification, the entire Coalink series is perfect for applications with high data transfer volumes, high frame rates and real-time transfers, together with large cable lengths and high cable flexibility.

FRAMOS' team of image processing experts will show their range of components and solutions in hall A2, stand 201, and will assist anyone interested in these products in their selection, right down to configuring the application for industry-specific challenges.
