Sato acquires Argox Information

Sato announced its acquisition of Argox Information, a manufacturer of barcode printers, barcode scanners, and portable terminals, making Argox a member of the Sato Group of Companies. Founded in 1996, Argox has focused on China, Brazil, Turkey, and is today tracking to become a main provider of auto-ID solutions in countries such as India, Russia and South Africa. more

John Stack receives 2012 AIA Achievement Award

John Stack, President of the Optical Systems Division, for Zygo Corporation, was presented with the 2012 AIA Achievement Award during a ceremony held today at AIA's 20th Annual Business Conference in Orlando, Florida, USA. Stack was nominated by AIA members and was selected from a talented pool of candidates by the AIA Board of Directors. AIA Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Korean Machine Vision Industrial Association

The Automated Imaging Association (AIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Machine Vision Industrial Association (KMVIA), a year-old trade association representing machine vision in Korea. "We are delighted to be collaborating with KMVIA in our mutual efforts to advance the understanding and use of imaging and vision technologies," said Jeff Burnstein, President of AIA. more
